结构紧凑:

轴承磨损率低
连杆结构为船用型式，并采用降低表面承载压力的设计，更减少了轴承磨损，延长了轴承寿命。
前端箱概念:
所有附属设备，如滑油泵、水泵、冷却器、滤器、安全和调节阀均装于为一整体的前端箱上，易于维修。
燃用柴油、重油:
在整个负荷范围内，柴油机可非常有效地燃用廉价的重油，具有大功率输出，低滑油、燃油消耗率的特点。
大修周期为24000小时，将每日维护工作量减至最小，每套气缸组件可做为一个单元整体吊出用于维修和更换，无需很高的吊缸空间。
有利环境保护:
柴油机能满足未来的IMO组织对NOx排放的要求。
最佳的运行温度控制:
柴油机采用集成冷却水系统，确保在整个负荷范围内，从零至满负荷均能达到最佳的温度控制。另外，空气冷却器配有水雾捕捉器，以减少在冷却器内部冷凝水的数量。
控制器:
控制器能保证所有喷入气缸的燃油能完全燃烧，减少在机器增加负荷时产生的机器内部污染和磨损。
